🙏 General Guidance for Spiritual Consultations
If you choose to seek a spiritual consultation, please find a reputable temple or religious organisation that you trust, and exercise common sense and caution.
Your safety comes first. During a consultation, if anyone touches your private parts, behaves inappropriately, threatens or pressures you, or makes you feel unsafe, stand up, protest, leave immediately, and call POLICE!
At the same time, please understand that some religious traditions may include blessing rituals, such as using a sacred flag, fan or other religious object to bless a devotee's head or body. Use common sense and distinguish a legitimate religious ritual from inappropriate behaviour.
Gods will NOT:
Ask you for money in exchange for their help.
Become your personal “friend” and call you for casual chit-chat.
Use greed or fear to pressure you into paying more and more.
Ask you to keep a consultation or spiritual experience secret.
According to our tradition, deities work through their appointed mediums for a limited, destined time, usually during temple sessions. Consultations should be open and public, not secret.
Human beings are imperfect. Please respect the gods, but do not worship the medium.
🌿 What do the gods want from us?
The gods want us to:
Be filial and care for our parents and elders.
Do more good deeds.
Be compassionate and helpful at home, at work and in the community.
Treat people and animals with kindness.
Use more praise and encouragement when teaching younger generations.
Teach children compassion, love, courage and resilience when facing hardship.
Teach the young how to pray and connect with Heaven, so they may be protected, safe and guided throughout their lives.
In times of danger, deities DO protect children and us, while understanding that some circumstances may be connected to karmic consequences or matters already destined.
True spirituality should help us become better human beings — more compassionate, courageous, helpful and responsible.
❤️ Gods Love Everyone
The gods love everyone, regardless of religion, race or skin colour.
Unlike fortune tellers giving you a long prediction, the gods only answer what you ask. So ask away! They may give you hints, short answers, or say very little if something is a heavenly secret. After all, we have free will and must take responsibility for our own actions.
The deities are kind and possess supreme wisdom and power — think of them like the Avengers' Infinity Stones, but on a much greater spiritual level. Compared with the gods, we are like tiny ants. Therefore, always treat the deities with great respect and courtesy.
They are, in essence, holy light and do not conform to human appearances or expectations.
Good gods will NOT help you curse or harm others, because we are all their children, regardless of our skin colour, religion or beliefs. Instead, they encourage us to choose compassion, kindness and wisdom.
The author has personally experienced spiritual disturbances in the past. It took time for them to settle because, in this spiritual understanding, the deities must also exercise caution and avoid causing harm to other spirits. If you were that other spirit, you would probably appreciate mercy too. This is why compassion should extend to everyone.
Another example: The author's friend once sought guidance from a deity, but the deity refused to tell her anything except to urgently go to the hospital for a medical check-up. Sadly, she was later found to have cancer and was already in serious condition.
On a lighter note: Another friend sought guidance and was advised to develop a particular skill set. After following the deity's advice and building those skills, she began receiving more job opportunities.
Gods' help is free. You may make a small donation to support the temple's maintenance and expenses, but donation is never an obligation.

What we think in a year may be only one day’s thought to the deities. That’s why when they communicate with us, it may be like how we talk to cats, dogs, or birds—using just a few words, wondering if we understand.
They can hear our thoughts and speak many languages, but they may choose not to, out of love for our elders and traditions. So, be polite and respectful. As we move into modernisation, changes are coming.
